Red Baron Drive-In in Afton

Such an iconic Star Valley ice cream and burger joint! Car hop too! My wife loves their foot long hot dogs and we all love their vast ice cream shake selections! Right by the airplane factory with lots of fun on the historic Red Baron fighter of yester year!

They have good food. And the servers are great.

Got the Sea Royal and fries... for the second time, during our stay in Star valley. I love this food!

On vacation for a little weekend getaway with my husband. Not much to do in the town, but the car's flock here. So, we stopped on our last night to enjoy real CarHop service. The wind really kicked up, but before that it was a very pleasant experience! And delicious too.

This is an awesome burger joint. Love the food and the prices. The employees are lovely and the layout is absolutely fantastic. Would definitely recommend anyone to come here. Maybe something to improve would be paper menu's for those that have a hard time seeing the big board. Will be returning for more.

Went to our local hot spot for lunch. Hands down they have the best food. My favorite is a pastrami sandwich on a hoagie.

A better burger would be difficult to find. The food was great. The customer service was welcoming. I would definitely recommend this drive-in to anyone that is hungry!

Not as good as it was 2 years ago. Got a almost raw burger.

The food is so delicious, there only open seasonally. We go there every summer to eat. There burgers are divine and there sea burger is my absolute favorite. Go and try it out. You wont be disappointed.

I got a salad which was okay but there were no other dressings except ranch. my husband got a veggie burger which he liked but it wasn't his favorite. The fries were okay and the prices were reasonable. we ordered and then went behind the building to sit on the picnic tables with family and eat but there were no trees for shade. They also have the bathrooms closed which made it really hard.

Fun drive in, not a drive through so the driver can eat too😁

The Pizza Burger is a gift from God!! Seriously! The Heavens open and the angels sing! Not to mention the black raspberry shakes are the perfect topper along with a scotch and soda!

Very good food here. The chocolate shakes are probably some of the best! The drive up service is really neat and the staff is very friendly. Definitely a place I would stop by again when I visit!

I was VERY DISAPPOINTED!! ordered off the app was told it would be 15 minutes. I showed up in 15 minutes and it still took 30 more minutes. When the food finally arrived it was cold. Told the gal and she didn't seem to care. After getting the food home was even more disappointed for the fact that the order was wrong.

Waited for 15 minutes to be recognized without a red sticker in our window😏

Love our great theatre! I can't drink caffeine at an evening movie or I won't sleep. And I can't drink most sugared soda because I have had gastric bypass. We made a deal with Travis to pay the cost of a 20 oz. drink so they still got the revenue, but I still got a soda🍻!

A pretty good burger joint. Has some very classic options and some cool unique options also. A good disign and typically fast service. It can sometimes get so busy there is nowhere to park though. Over all though in my opinion it is for sure a place to stop by while passing through the area.

Great service, friendly people, and pretty quick too! All the sides (fries, tots, and onion rings) were awesome. Shakes were great. The burgers were good, no complaints but also no real compliments for them. The pricing for the burger matched the value though, cuz they were pretty cheap. The theme and environment are fun. I will eat there again next time I'm in Star Valley!

Great roadside drive-in. Seasonal operaton. Hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, fish, soda and shakes/ice cream. Curbside service with food delivered on window trays. Very clean. Some inside and outside seating also available. Service is good and food cooked to order. Much better than typical fast food places. Ice cream is soft serve type with plenty of mix-in options. Well worth the stop if in the area

Used to love coming here. Each time I go the food gets worse. This last time it was a cold patty in a burger and I had to use a magnifying glass to find the patty in it. Won’t be coming back anytime soon.

Cute place, but when you order a banana split, you have to ask for a banana as one of your 3 toppings or else you just get ice cream with toppings sans banana....

Had a great social distance dinner her last night. Fresh, fast, great friendly and attentive staff. Also, great to see such polite customers if they needed extras. This staff does a great job

My family and I moved from Texas to Etna earlier this year. When in Texas we had a small burger place that we loved going to as a family. I have been told nothing but awesome things about the Red Baron since moving here. I decided to take my family out to eat so we cam here. A direct quote from my wife was that this was the best burger she has had since our huge move. My kids loved their food and their chocolate shakes. I'm so glad that we made the choice to make the drive. Also the staff was super helpful when it came to helping this texas boy out thank yall for such a good time and great food. God Bless yall

Was heading up to Yellowstone and Grand Teton and was told to give Red Baron a try, best choice ever. Burgers and Tater Tots were awesome, and the fresh thick milk shakes were a great pairing.

I had fond memories as a child coming here which as of today has been shattered. The past few years the quality has gone down, and today was an utter disappointment. I was honestly deflated after my meager meal. The burger was barely warm, and smaller than a patty at McDonald’s. I used to come here for the quality, but I guess it’ll be for quick and cheap from here on out

My family and I stayed the weekend in Afton, camping. A few of the locals recommended we stop here to try it out. All of the 4 days we were here, this place was crazy busy. I think that means it’s pretty good. We decided to give it a shot. It’s delicious. Hamburgers are fantastic, fries and tator-tots are good as well as the milkshakes. You can even get malt shakes here. Do yourself a favor and stop by.

Great little place to visit. The food isn't spectacular, but it tasted good and the prices were very reasonable. It was very busy when we stopped in, but that was because of the county fair that was going on in town. The atmosphere is friendly and has a 1950's flare to it. Definitely worth a visit.

I was interested in trying this place. Unfortunately none of the employees were wearing gloves and some weren’t even wearing face masks
